Victoria will enter a seven-day circuit breaker lockdown from Thursday, 27 May 2021 at 11:59pm, in a bid to contain the growing cluster of cases in the state.
VACC confirms automotive, as an essential service, can remain open during this time. However, vehicle and parts sales operations are limited to click-and-collect services only.
Permitted Worker Permits are not required.
VACC reminds members it is mandatory for every business with onsite operations to have a COVIDSafe Plan. Additionally, businesses must operate based on six COVIDSafe Principals including physical distancing, practicing good hygiene, and wearing a mask.
Wherever possible, contactless services are advised, such as pickup and delivery (parts and vehicles) and key drop-off box facilities.
